Bow Valley College

Marketing Officer

Why work at Bow Valley College?  Mostly because we’re a pretty great place to work. Don’t just take our word for it – we were named one of Alberta's Top 70 Employers for 2016. Our employees want to see our learners, and each other, succeed. Our staff and faculty consistently say it is the people, the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students, and the incredible support they receive from their co-workers and supervisors that keeps them at the College.

But enough about us – we want to know about you. We’re currently accepting applications for the position of Marketing Officer.

Reporting to our Marketing and Communication Strategist, you would need the ability to prioritize your workload as you develop, coordinate, and report on marketing and communication projects. Your superior organizational skills would be an important part of developing and producing advertising collateral and marketing materials. Your previous experience in an ad agency or marketing department would come in handy as you make sure ads meet our brand standards, or as you track budgets and financial reporting of projects/campaigns. This role also supports College Advancement events, and other duties as required – and we’d be thrilled if you also know how to use Wrike or similar project management tools.

Does this sound like the right role for you? Great! Keep reading.
