Digital Business Strategist, Digital Marketing

Tandm Digital Agency is looking for a motivated Digital Business Strategist in the Toronto area, who wants to be part of a small, but fast-growing digital marketing agency. Our offices are located on University Ave, by St Patrick subway station (TTC).

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Project/account management (20%)
  • Keyword research & analysis (15%)
  • Monthly and ad-hoc reporting (15%)
  • Optimizing meta data (15%)
  • Devising digital marketing plans & strategy (15%)
  • Business development, pitching and on-boarding (15%)
  • Copywriting and editing (5%)

In addition to the above, the individual may be asked to perform the following tasks:

  • Media Relations: tasks involve pitching new promotional ideas to media partners, negotiating terms, and managing existing relationships.
  • Accounts Receivable: tasks involve sending and managing invoices/payments.
  • General administrative tasks

Required Knowledge, Skills & Attitudes:

  • excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work autonomously
  • excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • ability to be both self-motivated and objectives-driven
  • ability to use critical and out-of-the-box thinking
  • computer literacy with a working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, & Google Docs
  • a working knowledge of the Internet, various search engines and social media networks including Twitter and Facebook
  • proven research and analytical skills
  • excellent English writing skills (full/native English proficiency)
  • high level of ethics and personal accountability

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BComm, project management certificate, or degree in a relevant field of study
  • 1-3 years in a Project Management role
  • 1-3 years experience with B2B
  • 1-2 years of experience leading or planning digital business strategies

Assets, but not required:

  • Previous experience in SEO/SEM
  • Experience using Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Search Console

Compensation:

This is a part-time, $25/hr + commission position with variable work hours (15-20 hours each week.)

Performance measures:

  • Client attrition/retention rates
  • Cost variance (actual vs. planned project budget)
  • Resource Utilization
