Assistant Office Manager

Our company Film & Event Solutions is looking for a self-driven person interested in gaining office experience. We rent equipment and hardware to film and event production companies. We are a small team that works closely together and are looking for someone who is outgoing, friendly and efficient. The ideal candidate will be available for long-term employment and has a background in managing a small team while also working alone. Knowledge of the film/television industry and the rental industry is an asset but not a requirement; we are open to reviewing candidates transferring from other sectors based on universal skills.

Duties include:

Interacting with clients through phone and email-

Booking orders based on inventory availability and dates-

Handling of Accounts Receivable-


Instruction of team members-

Arranging / Scheduling offsite deliveries/pickups/services-

Market Research-

Other miscellaneous tasks Skills/Experiences: -

Must be very proficient in Microsoft Excell, Word, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Cloud Google Forms, we rely heavily on internet technology such as mobile apps, skype and other messaging platforms.

Customer Service; Excellent written and spoken English-

Fast Typing-

Management Competencies, Initiative, Flexibility, interested in leadership,

Strong Problem Solving and must be able to work under little supervision.

Teamwork- Performs well under stress and little to no supervision Working Relationships:

The Assistant Office Manager reports directly to the President, works alongside the shop foreman and receives reports from the foreman’s team. The largest section of our company is the laboring team.

35-45 hours per week. Must live near South Etobicoke and must be able to work on Saturday.
