Marketing Coordinator

Acclaim Health announces the availability of a Full Time Marketing Coordinator position working with the Development & Marketing Team.Occasional work outside of normal business hours (evenings and weekends) for events and meetings is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Collaborates with colleagues to develop and implement marketing plans for various programs and services and various stakeholders including current and prospective: clients, donors, volunteers and industry partners

Using strong graphic design skills to develop and produces online and print materials and Acclaim Health branded stationary and supplies

Monitors and creates / coordinates content for Acclaim Health’s social media accounts including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube

Produces online and print materials and Acclaim Health branded stationary and supplies

Works with suppliers and printers

Monitors and updates the Acclaim Health website and intranet

Maintains a list of media contacts and assists in communicating with the media

Organizes the Acclaim Health presence at various community and industry events, including representing Acclaim Health at these events if required

Collaborates with colleagues to plan and execute special events such as the Annual General Meeting, program launches, fundraising events

Prepares and shares client, volunteer and donor stories to illustrate the impact of our work

Acts as a resource for colleagues regarding: marketing and communications best practices, email marketing, online registration and use of the intranet

HealTracks and assesses the effectiveness of various marketing vehicles and makes recommendations to the Director, Development and Marketing regarding their use

Proactively seeks opportunities to market Acclaim Health and its programs and services

Monitors marketing spending and expenses

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
University or college diploma in Marketing or equivalent

Valid Ontario driver’s license, use of vehicle and insurance per the company policy

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in marketing and graphic design

Design skills including excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Experience in working with / preparing files for suppliers and printers

Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of: Microsoft Office software, Wordpress, Sharepoint, Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)

Detail oriented, accurate and organized

Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team member
