The Role

  • Responsible for assessing, and at times negotiating, the delivery requirements and delivery schedules for productions delivering to both DHX TV and DHX Distribution
  • Organizes and leads calls with producers and production teams, both DHX and 3rd party
  • Evaluates each production and sends out appropriate delivery requirements to the production team
  • Updates and maintains the DHX Distribution Delivery Requirements and DHX TV Delivery requirement documents
  • Oversees the external quality control process for all video assets delivered to DHX media
  • Responsible for staying up-to-date on changing technical requirements, and updating the DHX delivery requirements accordingly
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the delivery teams on all productions delivering to both DHX TV and DHX Distribution
  • Responsible for keeping all impacted departments aware of delivery details and timelines
  • Works closely with, and organizes, the Content Team with respect to the collection and download of materials

Critical Competencies

  • 3-5 years’ experience with content distribution and acquisition within a broadcast framework
  • Highly collaborative and experienced working with cross-functional teams
  • Project management experience working with schedules, budgets and quality control
  • Knowledge of international tape and file formats and frame rates
  • Knowledge of image file standards
  • Understanding of Production and Post Production processes for both animation and live action
  • Strong client services experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proactive and independent worker

Preferred Competencies

  • Knowledge of Wrike an asset
  • Knowledge of Aspera and Signiant delivery platforms an asset
