We are looking for a talented enthusiastic news and on-air talent to co-host mornings on KiSS. You'll provide news updates, entertainment features, engaging content and be an integral part of the morning show.
Prepare, edit and deliver morning newscasts.
Assist the News Department outside morning show duties for news coverage.
Local news gathering, re-writing of local is essential
Prepare on-brand, demographic appropriate content for morning show
Execute all program activities according to station format, style, content and philosophy.
Voice commercial messages and record/edit interviews.
Attend community or related organization functions as required. Attend station or client promotional events as required.
Carry out remotes as required. Emcee station and community events.
Post-Secondary Radio Broadcasting diploma or degree preferred.
Industry experience (programming and news) required.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Highly motivated, enthusiastic individual.
Computer literate, with preferred experience on the latest versions of Burli News, Wide Orbit Automation System, Adobe Audition.
