Graphic Designer

As a Designer, you work within an assigned group and contribute to the development of program strategies and create communication solutions that are creatively compelling, on strategy and motivate desired consumer behaviour.

  • Regularly attend and participate fully in briefs, product group meetings, and client presentations; attend client briefs and research as needed
  • Participate in the development of program strategies along with Art Directors, Writers, Creative Director and account management partners
  • Collaborate fully with Art Director, Writer, and Production to translate marketing strategies into innovative, viable, and benefit-oriented creative concepts brilliantly
  • Partner with production to ensure the development of formats that achieve the strategic objectives outlined in the brief and to maximize the use of the production budget
  • Meet with the Creative Director, along with Writer, to discuss concepts and creative strategy, ensuring that they deliver against the objectives
  • Present creative work and creative rationales to the product group and then to the client for discussion and approval; compellingly and with an authoritative manner, building a positive working relationship with client contacts
  • Execute creative in multiple mediums by incorporating fresh and contemporary design elements with proven design and production techniques while maintaining the client’s established graphic standards, brand identity & program objectives
  • Maintain quality and budget control throughout all aspects of the art, file prep and/or broadcast production process in conjunction with Production and Studio
  • Estimate and adhere to personal creative time
  • Championing the client’s cause while balancing it with CM2 Filter objectives
  • Contribute to building a positive agency culture, building positive working relationships with other departments and clients


  • Must be a team player
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as an Art Director.
  • Knowledge and experience in performing on a variety of consumer, industrial, corporate and institutional communication assignments in multiple mediums.
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts, or associate degree in Commercial Art/Design an asset
  • Must have a portfolio demonstrating the creativity required to present ideas, words, and visualizations that will intelligently persuade the consumer to buy the product or use the service
  • Craftsmanship in design. Perceptivity. Sensitivity. Imagination.
  • Must have a passion for the business

Salary: $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
