Marketing Coordinator

DC Bank, a private Canadian Schedule 1 Bank, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join its Operations team. The position would be based in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the COO, the ideal incumbent is one who is highly motivated, and gets things done accurately, effectively and with minimal supervision.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Proven ability to read and interpret legal contracts with clients
  • Ability to develop and coordinate deliverables across multiple channels
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to translate a concept into professional and print-ready materials
  • Similar experience an asset, e.g. communication or marketing expense
  • Strength in digital content marketing, e.g. social, email and web
  • Advanced skills with PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and general proficiency OutlookSome key responsibilities include the following:
  • Specific Responsibilities:
  • Design marketing materials as needed
  • Design web graphics for website, advertisements, email announcements and social media content
  • Design and coordination of marketing strategies
  • Respond to media requests and coordinate media interest in the Bank
  • Manage website updates through content management system
  • Research, write and edit copy for electronic newsletters, website, brochures, social media and other projects
  • Management of social media outlets and tracking of effectiveness and areas of improvement
  • Coordinate and execute various promotional strategies
  • Coordinate and execute the Bank’s involvement with various consumer tradeshows
  • Work collaboratively with management in strategic planning, development and implementation of marketing initiatives
  • Support creation of customer and promotional content and communications
  • Create written content for internal and external communications and marketing collateral, including social media and email marketing
  • Manage digital content updates online
  • Social media content publishing
  • Develop resources for online and print
  • Other duties as assigned
