Marketing & Specialty Leasing Coordinator

Title: Marketing and Specialty Leasing Coordinator – Place Bourassa

Reports to: Senior Property Manager

Department: Property Management

Duration: 12 months (covering maternity leave)

Position Summary:

Support the Marketing and Leasing Plan requirements of the designated Mall.

Academic and Education Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma with a marketing specialization;

Qualifications and Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of marketing experience, preferably within the real estate or retail industry;
  • Excellent oral and written French communication skills & good oral and written english communication skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Good Knowledge of Facebook
  • Strong organizational skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects at one time;

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Marketing

  • Coordinate and develop the annual marketing plan, including concepts, advertising and promotional programs of the Mall;
  • Follow up of the marketing / promotional budget;
  • Verify and correct advertising proofs with respect to different signs, newspaper postings and other types of advertising means produced from the advertising firm and presenting these to the Regional Property Manager;
  • Maintain an elaborate relationship with the Tenants in order to facilitate their participation in different events;
  • Organize and supervise from start to finish the promotional and relational events in collaboration with contributors (According the annual marketing plan);
  • Verify and analyze traffic in the Mall with the help of existing statistical measures (reports, statistics, etc);
  • Maintain external board advertisement for tenant and special events promotions;
  • Create and coordinate content and manage the community of the Facebook page.;
  • Maintain the Mall’s website with up-to-date information;
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned by the Regional Property Manager;
  • Supervise the seasonal promotional displays program
  • Create the purchase orders and monitor the invoices of the marketing program

Leasing

  • Assist in the leasing of various spaces in the property;
  • Prepare and manage leasing for non-profit organizations;
  • Manage the potential new Temporary Tenants;
  • Prepare approval forms as well as the legal documents all by respecting “Temp deal matrix”;
  • Maintain and update rent roll and communicate it to appropriate parties;
  • Advertise vacant spaces that are available;
  • Prepare monthly report of all Temporary Tenants (Tenant, site, duration and revenues produced)
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date filing system of all Temporary Tenant Files; Collect rent from specialized leasing.
