As the leading global retailer of athletically inspired footwear and apparel, we are looking for an individual who can support our digital marketing and media efforts for the Foot Locker family of businesses in Canada. This role will work closely with our marketing leadership team, vendors and merchant team to help calendarize marketing activities, recap results and analyze performance. Additionally the candidate will manage the logistics for our product requests and seeding/sample acquisition efforts to assist with the marketing creation funnel.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and analytical individual with excellent communication skills across all formats of communication. Need to leverage a project management approach with the ability to keep a lot of balls in the air. The individual needs to be fearless about working through individuals to accomplish their goals. They should also provide a data-driven, analytical approach for decision making. A love for sneakers is also a plus!


Digital Performance Marketing
  • Lead monthly email (CRM) content planning under Director’s supervision
  • Coordinate and recommend assets/copy and test ideas for “Always On” Display Ads & Social DPA Ads
  • Coordinate affiliate planning in partnership with Performance Marketing team, including monthly recap of programs & performance
Digital & Social Media
  • Work with internal partners to ensure priority styles are available and easy to locate via Web and app
  • Lead Vendor Paid Media briefs, program execution, and tracking, under Director’s supervision
  • Work with our Influencers and PR team on coordination for product seeding, shipment and performance measurement
  • Work with the internal brand marketing, merchant and creative teams on sample acquisition for marketing content creation
  • Review and direct social media customer service questions to the right stakeholders
  • Partner with Social Media Manager to capture iPhone content to support weekly new arrivals
  • Partner with Social Media Manager to capture & share event content (as needed)
  • Responsible for Marketing Contest Management, including drafting rules and regulations, selecting winners and fulfilling prizing
Digital Marketing Analytics and Scorecards
  • Responsible for digital marketing performance summaries (vendor & internal programs)
  • Maintain & Update digital promotion tracker (as needed)
  • Maintain & Update paid digital media performance tracker (monthly)
Budgeting & Planning
  • Monthly budget tracking
  • Working with external agency partners and product vendors to secure and process invoices promptly
  • Improve, coordinate, maintain, and update monthly marketing calendar


  • A university degree in business, marketing, communication or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar marketing capacity
  • Experience in developing marketing plans and working in a cross-functional team environment
  • A strong understanding of digital + brick & mortar integration (omni-channel)
  • Passion for digital marketing, planning, analytics, and a strong understanding of the Foot Locker, Inc. consumer within the Canadian marketplace
  • Ability to connect with Foot Locker’s core demographic in an authentic manner
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving team environment, utilizing interpersonal skills to manage relationships
  • Ability to manage work flow from multiple teams to ensure deadlines are met
  • Strong project management, communication and organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to set KPI’s and analyze raw data into meaningful and actionable insights
  • Results-oriented individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment but is able to react to last minute changes
