Digital Marketing Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of digital marketing plans and online strategies across relevant channels to ensure effective communications to target audiences
  • Execute all digital marketing campaigns in-house or through 3rd-party vendors
  • Develop and maintain the digital strategic plan, budget and contact strategy
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation on all communications
  • Collaborate with Recruiting department on volunteer recruitment campaigns to grow database and work closely with marketing agency on paid ads
  • Oversee BioPharma’s digital marketing accounts to ensure active engagement with users
  • Identify and share insights from social media monitoring with team members on a regular basis to inform strategies and digital marketing activities
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to make data driven decisions
  • Continuously and proactively analyze and optimize performance, strategies and tactics versus objectives and competitive activities
  • Conduct online research and make recommendations to support business goals and enhance social media marketing and engagement activities
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns and measure their success using relevant tools


  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, digital communications, digital marketing or a related field
  • 3-5 years experience and proven success in digital marketing
  • Skilled in working with Google Analytics and execution of Google Ads
  • Google Analytics Certification is an asset as well as a background in clinical research, healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Extensive experience with SEO and SEM
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to organize and condense complex information into plain language
  • High energy level with a strong work ethic
