Graphic Designer

As a Graphic Designer, you will be part of our Creative Services team and collaborate on exciting client projects that support learning objectives. In this role, you will develop design material for courses, multimedia solutions, and consult on design projects. You will have the creative direction to plan, analyze and create visual solutions and decide the most effective way of getting a visual message across in digital formats. The graphic designer is responsible for producing designs that get the messages across with high visual impact.

Major Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

  • Create visual elements such as course templates, user interfaces, screen layouts and designs, illustrations and iconography
  • Create environments, backgrounds, characters, and color schemes for digital learning games and interactive scenarios
  • Follow as well as creatively improve existing art direction and brand guidelines
  • Execute graphic design and production responsibilities in a manner that is flawless and accurate while adhering to client or corporate graphic standards
  • Work directly on design projects through conception, creation and production
  • Develop creative executions and initiatives to meet company and client objectives
  • Consult on design-related issues
  • Collaborate with Clients, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and internal stakeholders to conduct analysis and determine design objectives
  • Create storyboards, infographics, and determine strategies for graphics, animation, video, and other visual elements to be used in the course
  • Drive team collaboration to a shared understanding of requirements to arrive at effective graphic approach, technical development, navigation, and functionality with members of the Learning and Creative team
  • Assist front-end developers with design assets
  • Design and develop training collateral to support a variety of documentation material to support internal and Client onboarding
  • Manage digital assets


  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a graphic design capacity
  • Must have proven understanding of graphic web design principles including responsive design, user experience design, accessibility
  • Expertise with Photoshop & Illustrator or other applicable graphic applications
  • Ability to output professional and polished files for front-end developers
  • In-depth knowledge of graphic design principles, user interface design principles, interactive learning techniques, blended learning techniques
  • Strong analytical, consulting and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with prototyping tools and knowledge of HTML and CSS is an asset
  • Experience with animation, video, and interaction design is also considered an asset
  • Experience with developing training for internal audiences as it relates to professional development is an asset but not a requirement
