The Health and Technology District located in Surrey is accepting applications for a jack-of-all-trades Communications Specialist in a newly created role in the marketing team. Once complete, the Health and Technology District will be the biggest innovation hub in Canada for health and technology professionals to connect and build.

This is a unique opportunity for someone at the start of their Communications career - you will be working with a tight knit and supportive marketing team of two, reporting directly to the Communications Director, and be able to craft and develop your skills at a much faster and diverse pace than what most companies can offer due to our team being so small and nimble.

The marketing team will not only support all marketing initiatives for the Health and Technology District, but will also support our parent company Lark Group - a successful development company in business for over 45 years and going strong.

There will be no lack of projects to work on, and importantly in the times of Covid 19 - no lack of work and the ability to grow within a thriving company.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in Digital Marketing
• Excellent and advanced Graphic Design aptitude
• Intermediate ability to edit corporate videos
• Strong SEO/SEM knowledge and experience
• Experience with Social media platforms and management tools
• Diverse knowledge of current digital marketing trends

What you will receive in return:

• Base annual salary of $45,000 - $55,000, plus generous annual profit sharing
