Brand Marketing Manager - Private Brands

Responsible to the Director, Marketing – Content & Media for the development of marketing campaigns and content for Home Hardware’s portfolio of Private Brands.

Manage consumer centric strategies and flawless execution of multi-channel marketing plans in support of assigned Private Brands (2-6 Brands at any given time), including campaign development end-to-end from ideation, media planning and creative development to execution, as well as analysis and post-mortem reporting.

Develop and execute marketing communication strategies that build Brand health and help to deliver against objectives and financial metrics for assigned Private Brands.

Develop and manage key Private Brand messaging for all consumer touchpoints across owned, earned, and paid media to ensure consistency across all channels and optimize customer reach and impressions.

Partner with internal teams and creative agencies to develop breakthrough omni-channel creative that achieve cohesive and consistent messaging across customer touchpoints.

Communicate clearly defined Private Brands to internal and external cross-functional stakeholders ensuring positioning, value proposition and target audience is always top-of-mind throughout planning stages, campaign, and day-to-day communication of the brand.

Manage the creation and continual evolution of the Private Brand guidelines.

Analyze Private Brand positioning and consumer insights, utilizing point of sale, market share data, purchase data and competitive activity.

Develop creative solutions to manage budgets and reduce costs.


QUALIFICATIONS:

College / University diploma or degree in Business, Marketing and/or Communications preferred.

Minimum seven years’ general marketing experience, with an additional 3+ years of experience managing marketing campaigns and projects.

Experience with Private Brand management considered an asset.

Experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (channel marketing, merchandising, store operations) and external stakeholders (creative and media agencies).

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Acrobat, etc.

Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize and react to changing situations; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Ability to work additional or varied hours as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. Ability to travel as required.

Bilingual in both English and French considered an asset.
