Position Overview

Under the supervision of the International Distribution Director, the International Distribution Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the team in content sales and acquisition, in the development and exploitation of the catalogue as well as contributing to the optimization of the company's international reach.


Main Tasks:

  • Create and manage all sales tools for each title in the catalogue, as well as ensure their regular update and check proofs (sales sheet, writing/translation of synopsis, trailer, marketing elements, etc.);
  • Prepare sales contracts and provide after-sales service to customers (deliverables);
  • Planning ComediHa!’s presence in various markets and festivals (booth rental, member registration, support for various marketing tools, etc.);
  • Coordinate travel (transportation, accommodation, miscellaneous reservations, etc.);
  • Update the various databases (customer follow-ups, rights management, acquisitions & sales tracking, etc.);
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks (for example, but not limited to; purchase order, invoice coding, accounting follow-ups, reporting, contract management (signature and archiving);
  • Track expenses by markets/festivals and create post-markets/festivals reports;
  • Perform all other related tasks.


Professional Skills:

  • Good general knowledge of television (local and international) an asset;
  • Excellent writing skills in both French and English;
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing;
  • Good knowledge of marketing strategies;
  • Ability to master different technological tools;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Versatility, flexibility;
  • Ability to prioritize workload;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communication (or any other related discipline);
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience in television or film distribution preferably (or any other experience in international distribution or equivalent);
  • Bilingualism essential, fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
