We have a rare opportunity in Southwestern Ontario, close to the GTHA, London, and Kitchener!

Please note this will be an 8-month to 1-year contract position.

We are looking for our next dare-to-be-great candidate for 107.7 2Day FM in Stratford ON. The right candidate will be outgoing and ready to really dig into the community, and be the face of the station around town. Position Description:

• Morning Show host and Promotions Coordinator on 107.7 2Day FM
• Be a part of the community and make promotional appearances, as required
• Know how to be a storyteller with creative, compelling content
• Attend regular air checks
• Maintain station social media pages and websites
• Be keen on social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
• Liaise with clients as necessary
• Create and execute station promotions
• Assist sales and develop creative promotions
• Know how to prep a great show for our audience
• Voice track shifts as necessary
• Voice commercials for other Vista properties as needed

Position Requirements:

• Be extremely community minded
• Be willing to make contacts with local personalities
• A great attitude and the ability to be a positive force in the building
• Ability to communicate effectively online, on-air and in person
• Superior organizational skills
• A sense of humour is a MUST
• Must know how to operate in a digital age using social media and G Suite
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and video-editing an asset
• Familiarity with Enco and Selector an asset
