Business Affairs Specialist
Above The Line Media Services specializes in film and television tax credits and business affairs. The company is currently recruiting for a Business Affairs Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- keeping apprised of various funding guidelines, including federal and provincial tax credit requirements
- collecting and reviewing required information and documentation
- preparing and submitting funding applications
- preparing and submitting federal and provincial tax credit applications
- other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- at least 1 year working in a film or television legal and business affairs department or entertainment law firm
- understanding of the Canadian entertainment industry
- ability to multitask on several productions at once
- ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- demonstrated commitment to privacy and ethical conduct
- excellent written and oral communication skills
