Business Affairs Specialist

Above The Line Media Services specializes in film and television tax credits and business affairs. The company is currently recruiting for a Business Affairs Specialist.

 

Responsibilities:

  • keeping apprised of various funding guidelines, including federal and provincial tax credit requirements
  • collecting and reviewing required information and documentation
  • preparing and submitting funding applications
  • preparing and submitting federal and provincial tax credit applications
  • other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • at least 1 year working in a film or television legal and business affairs department or entertainment law firm
  • understanding of the Canadian entertainment industry
  • ability to multitask on several productions at once
  • ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • demonstrated commitment to privacy and ethical conduct
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
