Post Production Supervisor

Scott Brothers Entertainment is known for many highly-rated TV brands including: Property Brothers: Forever Home; Brother vs. Brother; and Celebrity IOU. We are excited to be growing our Toronto-based team and are looking for an experienced Post Production Supervisor to join our team!

The Post Production Supervisor will oversee the Post on one to two unscripted television shows, from offline to final delivery to broadcaster.



  • Scheduling the edit team, tracking edit days and clearly communicating their internal and network milestones for all cuts
  • Reporting regularly to the Director of Post and other relevant parties with updates, flagging any potential issues that may impact schedule and budget
  • Communicating regularly with the production team to make sure the Post schedule works with any fluctuations to the production schedule and flagging any needs or requests from the editorial team
  • Working with production and legal making sure all clearances and releases are addressed and blurred if required
  • Acquiring quotes and negotiating rates with external vendors for Online, Colour, Sound and graphics/animation
  • Scheduling animation and graphics to align with the Offline schedule, working with the vendor to provide all required assets and keep them on schedule
  • Working with external vendors to schedule online screenings, playback sessions and making sure all deadlines and deliveries are met
  • Preparing and delivering all required paperwork, ie music cue sheets
  • Assign tasks and oversee the Post Production Coordinator if applicable
  • Approving and submitting invoices and timesheets for the edit team and external Post

  • Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the Post process, escalating to the Director of Post, showrunner or others as necessary



  • Experience as a Post Production Supervisor in unscripted/documentary television, home reno experience desirable but not required
  • Extensive understanding of Post Production schedule management, milestones and project management techniques
  • Experience in leading and managing the schedule of offline, online, sound and graphics teams
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel), Google Workspace and Dropbox
