About Guild Festival Theatre
Guild Festival Theatre is Scarborough’s only professional theatre company and has been presenting contemporary takes on classics at the iconic Greek Theatre in Guild Park & Gardens since 2011. Presenting plays, concerts, and special events throughout July and August, GFT is committed to expanding the conventional definition of theatre classics by highlighting stories and artists that reflect the diverse, multicultural community that we call home. Job Description
The Social Enterprise Project Manager will assist the company in establishing retail services that feature Guild Festival Theatre merchandise. This store will primarily be online, though some items will also be offered for sale at GFT's in person events. Collaborating with GFT's senior leadership and graphics designer, the Social Enterprise Project Manager will ensure that our merchandise will be available for purchase by the beginning of our summer season.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Research, report and recommend e-commerce platforms
- Conduct market and product research and make product recommendations
- Collaboration with artistic leadership and graphic designer to select and implement merchandise
- Creation of an online store and integrating it into existing website
- Creation & implementation of inventory management and product delivery system
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience of e-commerce and retail management
- Knowledge and experience of user experience design
- Experience with Squarespace and Square Payments an asset
- Passion for social enterprise and helping charities achieve their missions through business solutions
- Knowledge of Toronto's performing arts scene is an asset
- Project management experience
- Creative and analytical thinking
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communications skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Superior planning and problem-solving skills
