We are looking for a Business Affairs Associate, Tax Credits for our Toronto corporate office. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for end-to-end tax credit process from budget stage to completion
• Prepare and submit tax credit applications for CAVCO, Creative BC, and Ontario Creates
• Liaise with others in Business Affairs, as well as Distribution and Finance in collection of documentation required for tax credits
• Maintain tracking spreadsheets
• Support Manager as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of rules and practices for CAVCO and other tv/film funding agencies
• Proficient in excel
• 2-3 years previous experience in Business Affairs
• General knowledge of production and film/tv incentives
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize
• Highly reliable, with the ability to self-manage, problem solve and exercise excellent judgement
• Ability to excel in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment
• Excellent professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
