I.T. Support, Intern (3-month contract)
Blue Ant Media’s I.T. team is seeking a confident, upbeat, and reliable individual geared up for an entry level role of I.T. Support, Intern. The role of I.T. Support is “the face” of I.T. whose primary responsibility is to ensure solutions are implemented.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all technological inquiries for all staff in our Atlantic Avenue head office. Additionally, taking into consideration our international offices, this role also provides the opportunity to work with and support our international teams. The successful candidate would leverage their technical knowledge and experience to provision effective solutions to business-critical problems. Most importantly, the successful candidate will be a keen problem solver who constantly strives to provide the highest quality customer service.
MUST be currently enrolled as a full-time college/university student in a diploma/certificate and eligible for Co-Op or internship position in program related to Technical Support, Computer Networking, or Information Technology
Winter semester contract: January 2nd, 2024 - March 31, 2024
What You’ll Be Doing…
Proactively provide timely responses and successful solutions to:
- Helpdesk requests through web ticketing portal
- Direct email requests and inquiries
- Direct face-to-face requests and inquiries
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with emphasis on user:
- Hardware: Mac and PC systems, mobile, printer and miscellaneous peripherals including building, maintaining, repairing and deployment
- Software: Mac OSX, Windows, and business specific applications
- Network Connectivity: WiFi, ethernet, and business specific networks
- Assist in administration of end user accounts using Active Directory and G Suite

- Exceptional interpersonal skills with positive attitude towards providing high quality customer service with constant desire to learn
- Ability to establish and maintain good customer rapport and perform well under high pressured, fast-paced, nature of work
- Good time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Works well both independently and as a team member
